Pro Skills Basketball Privacy Policy

Pro Skills Basketball ("PSB," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you interact with our programs, our website at proskillsbasketball.com, our registration and account platform at app.proskillsbasketball.com, and our related services (together, the "Services").

1. Who This Policy Is For

Our Services are used by parents and legal guardians to register youth athletes, manage memberships, and communicate with coaches and staff, and by our coaches and staff to run programs.

Accounts are created and held by adults. Youth athletes do not create their own accounts.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us

Parent/guardian name, email address, phone number, and mailing address
Athlete name, date of birth, grade, school, gender, and height
Athlete skill level, evaluation notes, and team assignment
Emergency contact name and phone number
Medical information you choose to provide, including allergies and relevant medical conditions
Uniform sizing and jersey number preference
Billing and payment information (see Section 5)
Messages you send to coaches and staff through the Services

Information collected automatically

IP address, device type, and browser
Pages visited and actions taken within the Services
Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 8)

Information from third parties

Authentication information from Google if you choose to sign in with Google (see Section 4)
Order and shipping status from our team store partner
Payment status from our payment processor

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Create and authenticate your account
Register athletes for teams, camps, clinics, and academies
Place athletes on rosters and communicate tryout outcomes
Process payments and administer payment plans
Order uniforms and team gear
Send you schedule changes, safety information, and other messages about your athlete's participation
Respond to your questions and support requests
Protect athlete safety and respond to medical situations
Improve our programs and our Services
Send marketing and promotional messages, where you have opted in
Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use athlete information for advertising.

You may choose to create or access your PSB account using Sign in with Google.

If you do, Google shares a limited set of information with us:

Your name
Your email address
Your profile picture

We use this information for one purpose only: to create and authenticate your PSB account.

We want to be specific about what we do not do:

We never receive your Google password.
We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Contacts, Google Photos, or any other Google service.
We do not sell information received from Google.
We do not use information received from Google for advertising, or transfer it to anyone for advertising purposes.
We do not use information received from Google to build profiles or for any purpose unrelated to running your PSB account.

PSB's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

You may revoke PSB's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access does not delete your PSB account or end any payment obligation; contact us if you wish to close your account.

Signing in with Google is optional. You can always create a PSB account with an email address and password instead.

5. Payment Information

Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor. When you enter a card, that information goes to the processor. PSB does not store your full card number. We retain only what we need to administer your membership: the payment method's brand and last four digits, your payment schedule, the amounts charged, and whether each charge succeeded.

Your signed membership agreement, including the dated payment schedule you reviewed at checkout, is retained as a record of what you agreed to.

6. Athlete Health, Medical, and Emergency Information

Where you provide allergy, medical, or emergency-contact information, we use it to keep your athlete safe and to respond appropriately in an emergency.

Access is limited to staff who need it: typically your athlete's coach, your City Director, and administrative staff. It is not shared publicly, is not used for marketing, and is not sold.

You may review, correct, or ask us to delete this information at any time.

7. Children's Privacy

Our Services are designed for parents and guardians, not children. Athletes do not create accounts, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a child.

We collect information about youth athletes, but we collect it from the parent or guardian who registers them, and we use it only to run the programs the athlete is enrolled in.

If you believe a child has provided us information directly, contact us at admin@proskillsbasketball.com and we will delete it.

8. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, understand how the Services are used, and support our marketing.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may prevent parts of the Services from working, including staying signed in.

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information with service providers who help us run PSB, and only as needed for them to do that work:

Payment processing: to charge your payment method and administer your plan
Our registration and account platform: the system that runs registration, rosters, and communications
Our team store partner: to fulfill uniform and gear orders, which requires your athlete's name, sizing, and shipping address
Email and SMS providers: to deliver messages to you
Website analytics providers: to understand how our sites are used

These providers are required to protect the information we share and may not use it for their own purposes.

We may also share information:

With coaches and staff assigned to your athlete, as needed to run the program
Where required by law, subpoena, or court order
To protect the safety of a participant, including in a medical emergency
With tournament or league organizers where necessary for your athlete to compete
In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy

10. SMS and Text Messaging

By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive SMS/text messages from Pro Skills Basketball.

Message types may include program updates, registration reminders, schedule changes, payment notices, and promotional offers.

Message frequency varies depending on your athlete's participation.

Message and data rates may apply, based on your mobile carrier plan.

To opt out, reply STOP to any message. You will stop receiving text messages unless you re-subscribe.

For help, reply HELP or contact admin@proskillsbasketball.com.

Note that opting out of promotional texts does not stop essential messages about your athlete's participation, schedule, or billing, which we may send by email.

11. Email

You may receive emails about your athlete's participation, your account, and your billing. These are necessary to deliver the Services.

You may separately opt out of marketing and promotional emails using the unsubscribe link in any such email.

12. Photography and Media

PSB may photograph or record athletes at practices, games, and events, and may use those images in promotional materials.

13. Data Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections, access controls that limit staff to the families and cities they work with, and secure third-party processors for payments.

No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

14. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your family is active with PSB and afterward as needed to meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations, including retaining signed membership agreements and payment records.

15. Your Rights and Choices

You may:

Access the information we hold about you and your athlete
Correct inaccurate information, much of it directly in your account
Delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law
Opt out of marketing emails and texts
Revoke Google Sign-In access at myaccount.google.com/permissions

To exercise any of these, contact admin@proskillsbasketball.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, including the right to know what information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights.

16. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Updates will be posted here with a revised effective date. Where a change is material, we will notify you through the Services.
